About The Call Log


We have opened a line: A space to listen, archive and honour those who journey with us.

We gather the voices of our collaborators, particularly their stories and frequencies.

We begin with Call+Continuum; a theme we explored through being commissioned by the Zeitz MOCAA Gala Collateral Programme, to curate sounds in celebration of the role South African women play in the creative industries. These are women who are not just making music, but holding memory.

Resisting erasure.
Declaring existence.

The Call is loud, intentional, undeniable.
The Continuum is subtle, generational, grounding.

We asked: What does Call + Continuum mean to you?

Her unique skill in seamlessly transitioning between genres like dance, house, and electro distinguishes her in a new era of music.

Beyond being a vocalist, Sio is also a prolific songwriter and producer, with her music serving as a profound reflection of her multifaceted talents. Her distinctive style is a unique blend of electronic, soul, and deep house music, and she has collaborated with a host of top producers, including Charles Webster, Ralf Gum, Jullian Gomes, Fka Mash, and Dwson.
